SchoolHolidays Project : Date Cake

Hey everyone who're reading ! Are there anyway ? HAHA
So, Assalamualaikum and we meet again in my humble petite blog.

Lately, I've been baking for quite while. I started with some microwave cooking. Those were fab !
I made some brownies and pudding and cookies. But, no photos to prove ya all ! Hehe

And, just then, I made my very first cake in my whole life by myself ! Weee~
Well of course my mom helped me out. but this time, I did most of the work.
My mom was just sitting around, and giving super duper tips. That's all.
So, yeah, I assumed myself, doing it all by myself. XD

I baked a date cake because, err not because it was easy or something.
 Nobody had ever made date cake before in our house.

I actually baked a date cake because there were tons of dates that my mom bought from Mekkah and Madinah from her previous Hajj.
So, to prevent  waste going on, i decided to do a cake from it !

Here's the recipe i followed. Did change some stuff. Just DIY and use your creativity !

 Oh btw, I used brown sugar. Just to give a slight difference ;)

So, there we go. My first ever cake. It tasted good actually. No bad ayyy ?

normally,

I don't know whether these topics are everyone's or just me !
But, I do it a lot. Cos they're just ain't nothing to do.
Oh there are. But, when it comes to friends, sometimes you just do not know what to say,
And these random questions come out.
And from there, you guys go on blabbing and chit chatting all the way.

Friends make going to school. F.U.N.
Imagine this.

You're walking down the streets to school, enter the school,
and all you see is teachers, papers and books.
And the gardener. Ahaha

No friends.

Or, you go to home school. Man, that's boring I think.
Eventhough you get to study comfortably.

Hm, so bye.

I've been through ti myself. I know how hard it is. 

And, for a girl -- once in a while,
you would like a whole day, hanging out with your friends.
Blabbing about last night drama, or trash talking about some people you hate.
Gossiping the  newest gossip.
Sharing your findings from your ' intense research' on somebody.
And so on.

But, you just got to remember. That's not all.
We have to remember our real purpose of life.
Everything, Lillahi ta'ala.

The thing is, yes, we can have fun,
yes we can love.
But, that's not all. They are just side things.
Side dishes the chefs say, huh ?

The main course is our duty as a khalifah, a leader.
So, wake up from that midsummer dream *ehem*
and let's get working.
Starting from ourselves first :)
